WAGGONER DIES FOLLOWING CALHOUN CRASH - Wilson Remains Critical, Springston's Condition Fair

A Spencer man was killed in a two-vehicle collision Saturday morning on US 33-119 west of Arnoldsburg at Letherbark. Thomas Waggoner, 23, the driver of an Olds 88, died on scene shortly after the crash.

Funeral arrangements for Waggoner have been completed at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. (SEE below)

A passenger, Mary Wilson, was listed in critical condition through Sunday night at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Waggoner and Wilson were driving east on US 33-119 when they crashed with a Ford F-150 driven by Greg Springston of Spencer.

Springston is listed in fair condition today in Charleston Area Medical Center.

Springston and Wilson were taken by HealthNet choppers from the community park at Arnoldsburg, after they were extracted from the vehicles.

There will be no funeral services for Thomas Allen Waggoner. The body will be cremated.

He was born in 1982, son of Anul Junior and Beverly Westfall Waggoner of Spencer. He was employed by Viking Energy of Sissonville.
