| Viola Helmic, 84, of Minnora, West Virginia, passed away February 21, 2005 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.
Born in Webster County, she was a daughter of the late John and Stella Cottrell. She attended Milo Community Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving Mrs. Cottrell are one son, Curtis Helmic of Minnora; a daughter, Mary Juanita Boggs of Minnora; 2 sisters, Gelia Cottrell of Zanesville, Ohio and Alverett Frazier of Indiana; a brother, Oran Duffy Cottrell of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Helmic, a grandson, Jeff Boggs, and a great granddaughter, Mary Ellen Boggs.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 23 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. John Meadows will officiate. Interment will be in the Orma Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
