The water department of the Town of Grantsville has received its annual Drinking Water Quality Report for 2004.

This report explains where the water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies.

The information in this report shows the results of monitoring for the period of January 1st to December 31st, 2004.

The town's water company, which also provides water to the Mt. Zion and Pleasant Hill PSDs, met all federal and state water standards and had no violations during the period.

The detailed report has been published or can be made available for inspection.

Questions concerning this report can be directed to David W. Johnson, Chief Operator at (304) 354-7316.

Further questions, concerns, or comments will be accepted at regularly scheduled water board meetings held on the 1st Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Calhoun County Courthouse.
