There was slight damage from an electrical wire arcing against a copper pipe at the William
Barr residence off White Pine Road. The Grantsville VFD responded at 7:23 p.m. Sunday
with two trucks and six firemen. Grantsville Chief Jim Garretson said the fire had been put
out when the department arrived.
Firemen also responded to an electrical short at the Robert Sampson residence on Phillips
Run near Grantsville at 7:41 p.m. Sunday. There was no damage.
Chief Garretson said firemen also answered an electrical transformer fire on Court Street
on Friday. |
