Arthur James Prusack, 83 - Munday

Arthur James Prusack, 83, of Munday, W.Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005.

He was born in Avonmore, Pa., a son of Metro and Anna Butz Prusack of Salina, Pa. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was retired from Beecher Drilling Co. after 40 years as a driller and dozer operator. He was a member of the Brooksville Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Charles and his wife, Bonnie, of Denair, Calif., David and his wife, Sheryl, of Big Bend, W.Va., and James and his wife, Judy, of Grantsville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles of Downington, Pa., and Fred of Cheswick, Pa.; one sister, Marion DeGrazia of Redmond, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Beecher Prusack; three brothers, Nicholas, Michael and John; and two sisters, Ann and Phyliss.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Chuck McDonald officiating. Interment will be in the Big Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
