Larry M. Sizemore, 58 - Spencer

Larry M. Sizemore, 58, of Spencer, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005, in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

He was born April 5, 1946, in Spencer, a son of the late Aura H. and Elizabeth E. Lawson Sizemore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard A. Sizemore.

He was a 1964 graduate of Spencer High School and a graduate of Marshall University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a retired accountant with the Department of Defense, member of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Nemesis Temple, and an avid golfer. He was a 21-year resident of Alaska where he was Past Master of the Eagle River Masonic Lodge.

Larry was a loving, caring, and giving man, a good father, and grandfather-to-be of Landon Marshall Sizemore.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey S. Sizemore of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Desiree Escalante, also of Anchorage; and a very special lady who had been his high school sweetheart and recently reunited soul mate, Mary Ann Osborne of Parkersburg.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. G. David Calvert officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will be in Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
