Submitted by Coach Hixon Calhoun Middle Wrestlers placed 3rd behind Williamstown and Braxton at the Roane Middle Invitational in a 10 team tournament on Jan. 15. Calhoun had four wrestlers in the championship finals and four wrestlers in the consolation finals. First place went to Cody Clark and Ben Laughlin. Second place finishers were Zach Hanshaw and Sean Gungle. Third went to Chris Mace and Chad Yoak. Fourth place awards were Allen Carpenter and Jacob Haught. Roane Invitational records were: 78lb. Dillon Richards 0-4, 84lb. Zach Hanshaw 4-1, 90lb. Sean Gungle 4-1, 90lb.B (exhibition) Larry Snider 3-0, 95lb. Cody Clark 5-0, 102lb. Ben Laughlin 5-0, 110lb. Taylor Welch 1-3, 110lb.B (exhibition) Brandon Reed 4-0, 116lb. Caden Arnold 2-2, 123lb. Aaron Yoak 2-2, 128lb. Allen Carpenter 3-2, 135lb. Tim Sutro 2-2, 145lb. Jacob Haught 3-2, 155lb.
