| Joan D. Davis, 52, of Canton, Ohio, died May 17th at her residence following a long
illness. Born in Parkersburg, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Beulah
McCoy. She had resided in Canton for 25 years.
Surviving are two sisters, Phyllis Houchin of Minnora and Julia Boatright of Norton,
Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Don Davis;
brother, Donald McCoy and sister Bonnie Sturm.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 22nd, at Stump Funeral Home in
Grantsville. Interment will be in the Snyder Cemetery Creston. Friends may call at the
funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions requested to the
American Heart Association.
