BLANKENSHIP ONLY CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR - Four Council Seats Are On Ballot, Two For Recorder

Mayor Neil Blankenship was the only candidate filing for Grantsville mayor as of yesterday, according to Town Recorder Phyllis Maze. Four individuals have filed for council, incumbents Charlie Whipkey and Cheryl Davis, JoAnn Stevens and newcomer Gaylen Duskey. Grantsville resident Roger Propst has filed as Town recorder against incumbent Phyllis Maze. If another candidate does not file by mail over the weekend, there will be one vacancy on the council.
