MAYOR BLANKENSHIP FILES FOR SECOND TERM - Two Have Filed For Council

Incumbent mayor Neil Blankenship has filed for re-election in the Town of Grantsville, according to the town office Monday. Blankenship is unopposed for the position, but candidates have until Saturday to file for the post. Only two of the current five council members have filed, Charles Whipkey and Cheryl Davis. There are five positions open. The town election is held every two years.
