| Chester Parsons, 77, of Ripley, formerly of Looneyville and Spencer, died Sunday, January 16, 2005, in Eldercare of West Virginia, Ripley, after an extended illness.
He was born July 27, 1927, in Calhoun County, a son of the late Gay and Martha Greathouse Parsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include one sister, Shirley Whytsell of Spencer.
There will be no service or visitation.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
