Fresh off a second place finish in the Braxton Big 16 the Calhoun wrestling team is on the road tonight to compete in the Riverside Duals. Winfield, Herbert Hoover and the host team will join Calhoun at Riverside.

In its last outing Calhoun was second at the Braxton Big 16 with 198 points, 47 behind champion Shady Spring. Herbert Hoover was third with 156. Calhoun's impressive showing at Braxton came without wrestlers at two weights. The Red Devils were without Caleb Hart (injury) at 145 and Eddie Burrows (illness) at 112. Andrew Cummings (135), Justin Price (152) and Paul Goodrich (170) all won titles at Braxton while Bryan Gungle (119) took second, Justin Ramsey (125) and Jaron Sampson (130) had thirds, Dustyn Nichols (160) was fourth and Justin Whipkey (275) fifth. Ironically Calhoun's Tyler Bain took a fourth at 119 while wrestling for the "X Team."

Statistically Goodrich leads the way for Calhoun with a 27-0 record. He was 4-0 at Braxton. Price is next with a 26-2 mark while Cummings is 23-3. Other Calhoun wrestlers with 20 wins are Seth Jarvis (103) with a 20-7 record; Justin Ramsey (125) 23-3; Sampson (130) 21-8 and Nichols (160).
