TELEHONE SCAM CLAIMS YOU GOT MONEY

The Clay Communicator is reporting a telephone scam. Over the weekend a Clay couple received a telemarketer call saying they qualified for a $5000 grant. The catch is to cough up $250 and your bank account number. Others have received the same call. Watch out! A search for the company indicated it did not exist.
