Missy Oshoway has been in acute pulmonary distress, a complication of head trauma suffered in a car wreck. A Pulmonary Specialist made a change in the working of the ventilator and the numbers started improving yesterday.
The physicians brought in a bed for Missy that gently rocks back and forth, left to right, and that is helping get the fluid out of her lungs. It will also try to rid the body of the excess fluid.
The doctors said "This is not an uncommon problem with head
trauma ... we've seen folks pull out of this, but we've also seem
those who could not."
The family continues to ask for prayers. |
