| Naomi E. Ball, 78 of Grantsville, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at her home after a battle with melanoma. She was born July 11, 1926 at Orma, WV a daughter of the late Roscoe and Jesse Summers. She is survived by her son, Larry "Bubby" Ball of Grantsville; daughter, Joyce Fitzwater and her husband Lacy; grandson, Dustin Fitzwater; granddaughter, Trisha Triplett and her husband Roger; great granddaughter, Tara Triplett all of Clay County, WV; sister, Dorma Crawford of Wadsworth, Ohio; brothers, Lanny Summers of Massillon, Ohio and Oswald Summers of canal Fulton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Ball; brothers Ronzel and Charles Summers and sister, Ulinee Crawford. Naomi was an active member of Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday January 5, 2005 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Mary Zimmer will officiate. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville.
