Naomi E. Ball, 78 - Grantsville

Naomi E. Ball, 78 of Grantsville, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at her home after a battle with melanoma. She was born July 11, 1926 at Orma, WV a daughter of the late Roscoe and Jesse Summers. She is survived by her son, Larry "Bubby" Ball of Grantsville; daughter, Joyce Fitzwater and her husband Lacy; grandson, Dustin Fitzwater; granddaughter, Trisha Triplett and her husband Roger; great granddaughter, Tara Triplett all of Clay County, WV; sister, Dorma Crawford of Wadsworth, Ohio; brothers, Lanny Summers of Massillon, Ohio and Oswald Summers of canal Fulton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Ball; brothers Ronzel and Charles Summers and sister, Ulinee Crawford. Naomi was an active member of Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday January 5, 2005 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Mary Zimmer will officiate. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Housecalls Hospice, P.O. Box 1077, Parkersburg, WV 26102.
