MEDICAL UPDATE ON MELISSA OSHOWAY

Update on Melissa Oshoway's medical condition. (SEE earlier stories) According to a family spokesperson: Missy responded well to surgery, which was performed because of blood clots in her leg and lung. The surgery was to prevent the clots from going to her brain. Today, Missy's oxygen level has not been what the doctors would like to see. This afternoon a specialist was called to try and figure out why her oxygen level was low. His opinion is that Melissa is developing pneumonia. Her condition remains guarded.
