News stories around the Mountain State are saying the Christmas season is a time to celebrate, and this year, many people are celebrating their new jobs.

The unemployment picture in WV is looking better all the time, down to 4.3 percent, according to the West Virginia Bureau of Employment Programs.

Can you believe it. Things are even sunny in Sunny Cal. Calhoun's unemployment rate is down to nine percent, working toward an all-time low.

Virtually everyone is working in Gilmer County with three percent unemployment.

If you're having problems finding a job, according to this statistical dynamic which implies things are good in the state's counties, you might want to head to Pendelton County with only 1.9 percent unemployment.

Politicians love this statistical model.

It gives a biased impression about jobs and job opportunities.

But for today, fellow citizens, lets just feel good about government stats.

There's a chicken in every pot.

In Pendleton County, two chickens.
