Wanda I. Ashley, 74, of Barberton, OH, died Saturday, December 25, 2004, in the Hospice Care Center, Barberton, Ohio.

She was born May 19, 1930, in Elizabeth, Wirt County, WV, a daughter of the late Ira and Maggie Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert; one daughter, Pamela; three brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Hershel L. Ashley; three daughters, Patricia Wenhold, Sharon Miller and Sheila Ashley; two sons, Terry Ashley and Eric Ashley; two brothers, Lloyd Jones and Lewis Jones; two sisters, Garnett Newlon and Evon Frazier; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted Monday, December 27 at 8:00 p.m. in the Cox Funeral Home, Barberton, OH, with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. An additional funeral service was conducted Tuesday, December 28 at 1:30 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Burial was in the Fox Cemetery near Spencer.
