OSHOWAY BREATHING ON HER OWN - Improvements Noted |

The update on Melissa Oshoway is positive. She is now breathing on her own after pulling out a ventilator. Her eyes are open and alert, although she is yet to speak. John and Sue Oshoway, Melissa's parents, extend thanks to those of you are "praying for Missy." "She has shown improvement twice today, when God's people generally come together." Prayer chains and individuals are responding from around the country. "Our inter-denominational prayer groups are praying around-the-clock for Melissa. - Cleveland, Ohio "The Prayer chain has extended to Kingsport Tennessee - I know Melissa through Jeremy and his family. I read the Herald everyday through and keep in touch with friends concerning her condition. I have asked my friends here to mention her in their prayers at their churches." - J. W. "Being originally from Calhoun and knowing Melissa and her family, prayers are being sent from Grafton, Ohio." - A.S. "There are guardian angels watching over her." - G. F. "We have put Melissa on our prayer chain, and all the churches in our area." - Olympia, Washington Here in Barberton, Ohio we are saddened to read about the accident involving Melissa Oshoway. Although we don't know Melissa, she is the same age and went to school with a family member of ours, Kelly Badgett. We are praying for her recovery and for her family as well." - M. B.
