COURTHOUSE FIGHT LANDS COUPLE IN JAIL

A Calhoun couple are in Central Regional Jail after participating in a fight yesterday afternoon following Family Court. Mitchell Lee Collins, 38, of Grantsville has been charged with three counts of battery and his wife, Janet Sue Collins, 34, has been charged with domestic battery. Mitchell Collins allegedly grabbed Steven Wagoner by his neck and shoved him down the courthouse steps. He then got Wagoner in a head lock and hit his head against a concrete wall twice, said a report issued by Cpl. Doug Starcher of the State Police. Janet Collins allegedly approached Wagoner, "grabbed the victim around the neck and choked the victim." Wagoner is reportedly Janet Collins' ex-husband.
