CALHOUN WRESTLERS ROLL AT RITCHIE - Red Devils Win Every Dual Match

Calhoun's fourth-ranked Red Devils rolled to five dual victories in the Ritchie County Duals held over the weekend at Ellenboro.

The Red Devils beat Belpre, Ohio, 43-27 in the closest match of the tournament.

The other victories were all blowouts including an 80-0 romp over Wirt County and a 75-6 win over host Ritchie.

Calhoun also beat Winfield 67-12 and St. Marys 51-25.

Calhoun had five wrestlers go undefeated in the tournament. Andrew Cummings (140); Justin Price (152); Dustyn Nichols (160) and Paul Goodrich (171) were all 5-0 while Justin Ramsey was 5-0.

Seth Jarvis (103); Eddie Burrows (112), Bryan Gungle (119), Jaron Sampson (130); Jeff Goodrich (135) and Justin Whipkey (275) were all 4-1 while Caleb Hart (145) and Zack Yeager (189) were 3-2 and Michael Roberts (215) was 2-3.

Calhoun returns to action Wednesday at Bridgeport in a quadrangular with R.C. Byrd, St. Marys and Bridgeport before returning to action Dec. 17-18 in the Point Pleasant Duals.
