Virgie V. Jarvis, 93, of Millstone

Virgie V. Jarvis, 93, of Millstone, died Dec. 10, 2004.

She was born at Stinson, daughter of the late William J. and Mary J. Cumerlidge King. She was a Baptist.

Surviving, five daughters, Vivian Finster and husband Francis of Weston; Delores Lowe and husband Darol of Spencer; Susan Roberts and husband Gary of Millstone; Judy Rollyson and her companion Larry Craddock of Millstone; Karen Roberts and her husband Kenny of Five Forks.

A son, Roger Jarvis and his wife Julia of Mt. Zion and a son-in-law Jim Brown of Pine Grove. Also 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Three sisters, Iva Miller of Warren, Ohio, Hattie Digman of Mannington and Marie Marks and her husband Herman of Parkersburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Jarvis; a daughter, Donna Brown; son, Ronnie Jarvis; a grandson Mike Brown; a great-grandson Hayden Callaway and four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with the Rev. Kevin Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
