RECENT ACCIDENTS - Departments Respond (05/12/2001) Deputy Sheriff Ron Bandy and the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a minor two car accident on Nobe Road at 4:45 p.m. Friday evening. Assistant Fire Chief Dave Johnson said Krista Jones and Bessie Welch side-swiped mirrors two and one-half miles from State Route 16. A youth riding a bike was involved in an accident with a car on Mill Street in Grantsville last week. Sources at the scene identified the victim as Michael Metz, who was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for treatment. Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville Police Department responded. Grantsville police could not verify details of the accident.
