A Cannelton man has been arrested for burglary and petit larceny after he entered a Cremo residence and took several items.

James Douglas Hall, 35 (pictured left) allegedly entered the residence of Eugene Duskey Monday and stole a .22 cal. revolver, two boxes of shells and cash belonging to Duskey, according to Cpl. D. P. Starcher.

Hall is being held in Central Regional Jail.

Sheriff Allen Parsons said Hall was driving on a revoked driver's license related to DUI.

The police report says when a wrecker began moving Hall's vehicle following a stop, they "observed a .22 cal. pistol and two books of checks belonging to the victim ... lying under the suspects vehicle."

"The gun and checks were identified by the victim as being stolen from his residence," said the report.
