Delbert "Joe" White, 65, of LaGrange, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain, Ohio following a long illness. Born at Grantsville, West Virginia he had been a resident of LaGrange for the past 44 years. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 31 years where he worked in the Body Shop. He retired in 1991 Mr. White was a member of U.A.W. Local 425. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, woodworking, riding ATV's and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Surviving include his wife of 44 years, Naomi Holbert White; a daughter, Cathy Ross of Grafton, Ohio; sons, Tod White of LaGrange and Randy White of Fox River Grove, Illinois; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers, Ron White of Wakeman, Ohio and Steve White of St. Albans, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Alma Kelly White, sisters, Wava Hunter and Carolyn White and brothers, Benny and Gary White. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Kight Cemetery, White Pine Road, Grantsville. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
