Marge Evans welcomes new Dem chairperson Kevin Postalwait

Calhoun Democrat Party Chairperson resigned from the position Saturday, saying "Because of my age and responsibilities I have, it is time." Evans expressed her appreciation for the opportunity and thanked committee members and county Democrats who gave support.

The Executive Committee selected new chairperson, Kevin Postalwait, a Grantsville attorney, who said "I seek the encouragement and support of all county Democrats."

The secretary and treasurer of the group Marty Parks also tendered her resignation.
