VETS HONORED AT SENIOR CENTER - 5th Annual Celebration

The room was filled with veteran's from the broad spectrum of wars, World War II through Vietnam, but soon to include the more current conflicts.

The Calhoun Senior Center held their 5th annual Veteran's Day Celebration and Tuesday evening, led by special speaker John Oshoway.

CCCOA Director Mike Ritchie welcomed the vets and their families, reminding them of the center's "Last Man's Club," which is currently focused on veterans of World War II.

Certificates of Appreciation were presented by Ritchie and his assistant Brenda McBride, with special music provided by Von Yoak and Calvin Wilson. John Oshoway also displayed his musical talent.

The Color Guard was provided by the VFW from Spencer.
