 The Calhoun Commission canvassed ballots yesterday cast in last Tuesday's election. The numbers of ballots cast and counted by the optical counting machine were authenticated by hand count. A number of cross-checks were performed to confirm the accuracy of the votes. Commissioners will meet Friday to certify the election.
