Donald Scott McCumbers, 58, of Rosedale, Braxton County, West Virginia, passed away November 7, 2004 at his home. Born in Braxton County, he was a son of the late Noah and Thelma Starcher McCumbers. Surviving are nine brothers, Willard McCumbers and his wife Betty of Panama City, Florida, Wilburn McCumbers and his wife Peggy, and Roy McCumbers and his wife Linda all of Gassaway, Clarence McCumbers and his wife Eileen of Akron, Ohio, Rickey McCumbers of Front Royal, Virginia, William McCumbers and his wife Lois, Garry McCumbers and his wife Margaret, Paul McCumbers and his companion Donna all of Rosedale, and Charles McCumbers and his wife Loretta of Wilsie; 1 sister, Betty McCumbers of Rosedale; 21 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Willie McCumbers and a sister, Wilma. Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, November 11 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Pastor Tom Propst and Brother Perry Hayes will officiate. Interment will be in the McCumbers Cemetery on Fox Lick near Rosedale. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
