DEER CRASH CLAIMS ARE DOWN |

| Claims over crashes with deer are down in West Virginia. A state Insurance Commission study says West Virginia auto insurance carriers are estimated to have paid more than 21,500 claims for wildlife and vehicle accidents. The cost is about $36 million dollars. The average cost of each claim is more than $1,600. Last year's claims totaled about $44 million.
