STATE POLICE MAKE ROSEDALE DRUG BUST

Braxton County State Police have made another drug raid in the quiet village of Rosedale.

A search warrant was executed at the residence of John Michael Carter. He was charged with three felony drug related offenses, including possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture marijuana and manufacturing marijuana.

Carter was taken to Central Regional Jail at Flatwoods. Bond is listed at $45,000.

Police estimated that two to four pounds of the illegal drug were confiscated, indicating the street value of a pound of marijuana is between $1,500 and $2,000.

Officers also discovered indoor cultivation equipment.
