MAXWELL CROWNED GSC HOMECOMING QUEEN - Some Calhoun Connections

Queen Nicole Maxwell has some Calhoun connections,
shown here with Court Attendant Trent Boone of Arnoldsburg

Nicole Maxwell of Morgantown was crowned Queen of the Glenville State College Homecoming this past weekend. She is a senior chemistry major at GSC, where she is a member of the Glenville State College Board of Governors and is president of the Student Government Association.

She is the historian of Alpha Theta Xi, parliamentarian of the American Chemical Society, a student mentor and is on the College Leadership Council.

Ms. Maxwell says "The most important things in my life are, my fiancé, Matt Kirby of Calhoun, family and God.

She is the daughter of Charlie and Peggy Maxwell of Morgantown.

She plans to get married on January 1, 2005, and go on to graduate school and seminary.

Trent Boone, one of her attendants, is the four-year-old son of Eric and Julie Boone of Arnoldsburg. Trent's hobbies include anything outdoors, riding his bike, playing with his brother Corey and riding the tractor with his grandpa.

Trent says "I plan to be a cowboy when I grow up."
