Pleasant Hill School continues to be recognized for academic achievements

Pleasant Hill Elementary School (Grade 4) will be recognized for academic achievement next Thursday during an assembly.

State Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Stewart will present the school with a special certificate recognizing their accomplishment.

Principal Larry Stinn (left) said the school has met all the requirements of No Child Left Behind.

Stinn has additional reasons for being proud of his staff and students.

Pleasant Hill's fourth graders ranked 12% higher than the state average in Writing Assessment.

"Seven of our students made a perfect score," he said. "I am thrilled about the accomplishments of our teachers and students."
