Students make autumn arrangements

Thirty-five Pleasant Hill students, grades preschool through fourth grade, participated in a Saturday Fun Day on October 16th.

The event was funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant.

Students enjoyed roller skating, science experiments, making gifts for mom, and creating their own floral arrangement.

An additional treat was West Virginia Artist Ilene Evans who held two storytelling sessions in the afternoon for the students.

Instructors for the day were Kelli Whytsell who taught science experiments; Deb Goff - skating; Kristie Ritchie - gifts for mom; and Pat Radabaugh - floral arrangements.

The students really enjoyed the day and look forward to the next Saturday Fun Day in November.
