WEST VIRGINIA KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Woman Shoots Man Drivin' Up I-79

An Elkview woman apparently shot her husband coming up I-79 yesterday "over their marriage." Some news outlets reported they had just gotten married. Arrita G. Frazier, 51, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, wanton endangerment and concealing a weapon without a permit. She was in South Central Regional Jail on a $13,500 bond Wednesday night. The woman shot her husband in the stomach during an argument in their car, according to police. The couple were found along I-79, He was taken to CAMC where he is in stable condition. He told State Police that she pulled a gun from her purse and shot him after she started "acting crazy" during an argument "over their marriage," according to a report filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court by Cpl. C.K. Zerkle.
