HUR HAS AUTUMN SOCIAL EVENT - Celebrate Phyllis' Birthday Too

(10/12/2004)
It was an autumn social event, with greater Hur residents assembling at Kevin and Ronda Rose's house (the old Reynolds place) a few steps from the Hur UM Church and cemetery.

In Hur's glory days, there was a store and lodge hall on the property, and nearby the Sturm and McCoy Stores and the Hur Telephone Company.

The occasion was Phyllis Kerby's birthday, but it was sorta like an Octoberfest, with autumn decor, lots of hot dogs and plenty of sweets.
