HOME HEATING RELIEF FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES

(10/09/2004)
With home heating costs reaching record levels, the feds are giving some relief.

West Virginia will receive $12.7 million dollars to help low-income families pay their heating bills this winter.

The US Department of Health and Human Services is making the money available through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

The program helps eligible families pay the costs of heating and insulating their homes in the winter, and cooling their homes in the summer.
