The Calhoun Middle-High School Red Devil Band has a bright and shiny new bus, at least the paint job. Butch Ford's Auto Body at Grantsville has taken the dull and drab old school bus and made it a "looker" for the school band. He did it for free, too.

The Band Boosters are expressing their appreciation to Butch Ford for his excellent work.

The local band is slated for participation in several regional events.

The CCMHS Marching Band will participate (October 16) in the Black Walnut Festival Parade and competition in Spencer.

The band will be participating (October 30) in the Marshall University Marching Thunder Band Day.

The Herd will host the University of Central Florida. The CCMHS band will perform on the field at halftime with the Marshall University Marching Thunder and be guests for the game.

Two graduates of the band are members of the Marching Thunder - Nicki Church and Matthew Bonar.

The band is under the direction of Band Director Harry Beall and Drum Major Vicky Templon. Majorette Coach is Patty Haught. Majorette Captain is Amanda Richards and Featured Twirler is Casey Westfall.
