The Molasses Festival has always been a homecoming event for Calhoun folks.

This year was a special reunion with a visit from former Calhoun High Band Director Clinton Foster.

Foster was the "band man" at the school between 1955-60. He was at the festival Saturday afternoon, where former students and band members shared old times, band pictures and yearbooks.

Foster brought an old 8mm movie of the band in action, about 1957.

Foster taught in Ohio until his retirement and now lives in Lewisburg.
