There's lots of food at the Molasses Festival

Quilt show always draws spectators

Today the 37th Molasses Festival will feature more 'lasses makin' with lots of music throughout the day.

The "country fair" crafts, produce and quilt show are open to the public.

A sausage and pancake dinner will commence at 3:30 and conclude at 6:30 p.m., followed by gospel music on the outside stage starting at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday is a big day for the festival, including a volleyball tournament at 10 a.m. and the grand parade starting at 1 p.m.

There will be a chicken barbecue starting at 11 a.m.

Country and bluegrass music will start at 7 p.m.
