RT. 5 STILL CLOSED FOUR MILES EAST OF ELIZABETH (09/23/2004) Rt. 5 is still closed four miles east of Elizabeth, with work being done to place a culvert in the collapsing section of the highway. Meanwhile, area residents are detouring around the problem.
