Charmaine Ramsey, 52 - Spencer

Charmaine Ramsey, 52, of Spencer went to sleep in the Lord awaiting her resurrection on September 17, 2004 at home. She was born January 17, 1952, at Logan, WV a daughter of J.W. Salmons and Audrey Crum Salmons.

She was a 1969 graduate of Spencer High School. She graduated from Berkshire Christian College with a Bachelors degree in Theology. She received an Associates Nursing degree from Berkshire Community College. In 1991 she graduated top of class at the New Jersey School of Medicine and Dentistry. She worked at Family Health Care as a Nurse Mid-Wife. She also received the Laura B. Small award given for excellence in perinatal care.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Don Ramsey of Spencer, 1 son and daughter-in-law Gabriel and Michelle Ramsey of Charleston, and 2 daughters and son-in-law Rachel and Tim Crihfield of Harmony, and Sarah Ramsey of Morgantown, 2 brothers Gary Salmons of Huntington and Mark Salmons of Mechanic Falls, ME, 1 sister Cindy Moore of Clifton Forge, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 20 at 2:30 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Dr. Harry Soucy officiating. Burial will be at the family cemetery, Tom's Run, Spencer.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
