KACY HARRIS FUNERAL SCHEDULED SATURDAY

Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, for nineteen-year-old Kacy Harris who died after a long struggle with cystic fibrosis.

Harris recently graduated with the Class of 2004 at Calhoun High School and was the concern of the Calhoun community in an effort to obtain a double lung transplant.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Rev. Rick Swearingen will officiate the services and entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens in Parkersburg at the convenience of the family.

She is survived by her parents, Bernard and Kathleen Harris of Mt. Zion; a sister, brother-in-law and nephew, Alicia, Jason and Jaden Swearingen of Chloe.

Her fiancé, Pat Keaffaver of Mt. Zion and her maternal grandmother, Emilie Marks of Wooster, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather George Harris, paternal grandparents, Harley and Sarah Harris of Grantsville, an uncle Ronnie Harris and a cousin Jack Wine.

The Mt. Zion UM Church will have a dinner after the funeral for family and friends. Those wanting to contribute a covered dish to the dinner or assist, should call Pastor Rick Swearingen at 354-7252. Food should be delivered to the church by 11 a.m.
