COLLINS CASE INVOLVES PLEA AGREEMENT - Charged With Uttering

A Calhoun County man has entered guilty pleas over forging checks on a Roane County man.

Jeremy Collins, 22, of Grantsville has plead guilty to two counts of uttering before the Calhoun Circuit Court.

Collins has also entered a guilty plea in Roane County on one count of uttering.

In the plea arrangement, which involves both Calhoun and Roane County, charges of forgery and obtaining property by false pretenses, has been dropped.

The Roane County charge involved a $500 check written on Danny Harper.

Collins is scheduled for sentencing in October.
