GIRLS ESCAPE INJURY IN HOG KNOB ACCIDENT

Two Grantsville area girls escaped injuries when their car sheared a telephone pole Sunday night on Hog Knob Hill.

Amanda Lay and April Cain were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for evaluation by private car.

The accident happened on Calhoun's most accident prone stretch of road, Route 5 on the west side of Hog Knob Hill.

The Grantsville VFD responded to the accident, along with Calhoun EMS. Trooper 1st Class Jeff Hunt investigated the accident.
