Teen loaded in ambulance after being pulled up steep hillside

Four teens received what appeared to be minor injuries when their Chevy truck left Daniels Run Road early yesterday morning and went over an embankment.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Dustin Cutlip, 18. The other three male passengers were 17, 16 and 15. All were transported to Roane General Hospital with what was described as cuts and bruises, where they were being evaluated for other injuries.

Arnoldsburg firemen and emergency workers removed one of the injured males by using a rescue basket, pulling him up a steep hillside.

The Arnoldsburg VFD and Calhoun EMS responded to the scene on the right fork of Daniels Run at 3 a.m. Cpl. Doug Starcher conducted an investigation of the accident.
