IF IT'S NOT ONE THING, IT'S SOMETHING ELSE

Connectors maintained by Verizon caused an outage of dial-up internet services in Calhoun and other areas for nearly 24-hours. Yes, America, most of Sunny Cal is still on dial-up. During mid-afternoon yesterday the phone service problem was corrected, but shortly thereafter the electric power went off in the Pine Creek-Hur area and other sections for a few hours. Needless, to say - "If it's not one thing, it's something else." Nonetheless, we're back to writin' and composin' the Herald into the night, as usual and customary.
