SMITHVILLE RESIDENTS ARRESTED FOR OPERATING METH LAB - Harrisville Suspect Also Charged

Three Ritchie County suspects, two of them from Smithville, were arrested yesterday and charged with operating a "meth lab." Thirty-two-year-old Elbert Testerman and 22-year-old Amanda Testerman of Smithville are in jail. Police say they were operating a methamphetamine lab in a hidden room in the garage beside their home. Ritchie County's Eradication and Crisis Team, along with the Parkersburg Task Force also arrested 33-year-old Steven Alkire of Harrisville for operating a meth lab at a hunting camp on Oil Ridge Road. Authorities say calls made to the Ritchie County Sheriff's Tip Line at 304-643-4747 helped nab the suspects.
