TRANSIT BUSES STRUCK TWICE BY GASOLINE THIEVES - Moved To Municipal Parking Lot

(08/18/2004)

Will the buses be safe from gasoline thieves parked
in eye-shot of the Grantsville Police Department?

Gasoline thieves struck the Little Kanawha Bus Company in Grantsville the second time in five days.

Gasoline from both buses was drained from tanks again last night by cutting lines underneath the vehicles, according to authorities.

Bus company employees said the parking lot at Community Resources where the buses are parked is lighted.

The public transit bus company is looking at other locations to park the buses.
