WVU RANKS IN TOP TEN PARTY SCHOOLS

(08/17/2004)
West Virginia University has made a top 10 list.

WVU has maintained its rating among the top ten partying schools out of 357 in the nation.

It has been #1 at times, but it is slipping.

That's according to the more than 110,000 students surveyed by Princeton Review.

The top partying school in the nation was the State University of New York at Albany, while Brigham Young University maintained its usual place as the county's most "stone-cold sober" school.

Other top 10 party schools were Washington and Lee University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ohio University, Florida State University, University of Texas-Austin, University of Georgia, University of Colorado-Boulder and University of Mississippi.

Meanwhile, the Mountaineer football team was ranked tenth in the Associated Press pre-season poll released over the weekend.
